Elephants Tusks coming to Lagos intercepted in Kenya

A shipment of elephant tusks were intercepted at the Jomo Kenyatta international airport in Nairobi May 6, 2011. The smuggled consignment of 115 pieces of raw ivory weighing about 1.4 tonnes were intercepted by Kenyan authorities on May 5, as they were en route to Lagos, Nigeria. Kenya remains opposed to the lifting of the international ivory trade ban. - Reuters
