This one is the Bird Cage from Everyday Pop-up Cards by Cricut. I made this for my new Step-mother for mother's day. This is definitely one of the simpler pop-ups, but I enjoyed it!

MFT Teasers - Day Three
Are you ready for some cuteness?! Seriously! I adore these PI girls and was so excited to see what was coming this month! You are going to squeal with delight....I guarantee it!
This is sort of a long post with a lot of pictures so I will try to keep my chit chat to a minimum. You didn't come to hear me ramble because heaven knows I can! LOL!
First up is Pure Innocence Pucker Up.
Isn't she sweet selling lemonade? Chloe used to do this when she was a little younger.
See that pretty Scallop Ribbon die? That's a new one that will be released on May 3rd with everything else.
On the inside I used an older die called Sweet Stack Labels.
My next card features the Pure Innocence Fresh from the Oven. Fun image for all our little bakers!
The sentiment layer was cut using the Say What? stamp set and die.
There are a bunch of wonderful sentiments and I've used two more on the inside.
My third card makes me giggle. Just last month I took Chloe roller skating for the first time. Wow...that brought back memories! hehe!
So when I saw this super cute Pure Innocence Roll With It I squealed!
Below is a list of the Die-namics I used on my cards.
Be sure to stop by the MFT Blog to see a list of who is sneak peekin' today!
I can't wait to hop around myself!
Have a wonderful Sunday!
LRW- Mothers Day Card
Little Red Wagon's challenge this week is a Mother's Day card..
My Mother is a quilter . I have been on the lucky receiving end of several quilts.
A while ago I made one quilt card thinking of Mother's Day. Ended up making 3.
Inside of cards.
One has a pocket for holding either little sachets or little chocolate treats...
Now I have to decide which one Mom would like the most.

All Things Grow With Love
Hello!!!
I was so excited to receive my Verve package in the mail yesterday that I had to make another card using the Sweet Stop sketch #106.
Please be sure to scroll down for my first card ;)
You'll see it's *almost* the same layout as my card below minus the sentiment panel on the right. I chose to frame the sentiment layer.
Here I've used a bunch of new goodies!
Don't you love those new dies from Verve?
They are Floral Circles and also Elegant Leaves. Both of these co-ordinate with the Bloom & Grow stamp set.
Stamps: Bloom & Grow; Cardstock: White, Bashful Blue, Girls Paperie dp; Inks: Bashful Blue, Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery, Black; Accessories: Nesties, Silver Pearls, Martha Border Punch, Yellow Sparkly Candy Dots, Dimensionals, Elegant Leaves Die, Floral Circles Die
Thanks for stopping by today!
Thinking of You SSS106
This week Korin from the Sweet Stop had a fabulous sketch for me to use a larger image and make this a square card! I {heart} square cards!!
This card is a SU! only card too :)...well minus the oval nesties....lol
I dug deep in the drawer and found this Maine Blueberry dsp to use. I just love the colours and papers. A good masculine card.
I used the Branch Out set and some SU! buttons and edge punch.
Be sure that you stop by the Sweet Stop blog and see what fabulous creations the girls have come up with! I know they are amazing!!
Have a wonderful weekend!

Sour Cream Scones and the Royals
Did you get up early to watch?
In the early morning dark at 5:12 eyes popped open and up I got;did not even set the clock.
Watched the pomp and ceremony from London that the Royals do so well ..
Thoroughly enjoyed all the pagantry . Loved her dress and his uniform...
To celebrate with the Royals I made tea served in my favourite tea cup,
If you want to try the scone even if you aren't a Royal watcher ;
Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup sugar
1TBSP. baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
8 tablespoons butter,chilled
1/2 cup sour cream
1 large egg
Preheat oven to 400. Combine flour, sugar baking powder and salt.
Cut butter into dry ingredients using pastry cutter.
Combine egg and sour cream mix well.
Mix together dry and wet ingredients. Press dough in bowl until forms a ball.
On a parchment lined baking sheet , shape into 7-8 inch circle 3/4 inch thick.
Cut into wedges. Brush with milk .
Bake 15 to 17 minutes until golden brown.... may take a few minutes longer depends on your oven.
These scones have a lovely moist texture from the sour cream . Best recipe I have tried so far...

MFT Teasers Day 1
Are you as excited as I am?
It's the start of the MFT teasers and there are sooooooo many wonderful goodies to share with you over the next several days! I've been creating and I have a three day weekend which means I have MORE time to create! Yeah!
The official release will be at 10pm Eastern on May 3rd.
Today I am sharing two cards.
The first one uses an adorable set Flapper Doodles - SS Flapper.
I stamped a sentiment on the inside but left enough room for someone to write a little letter.
See that cool Scallop Ribbon border....that's a NEW die-namic too!
My second card uses Fred Bear Plays Indian.
This is my first Fred Bear set and can't wait to order myself more! He's adorable.
Again, I left the inside with plenty of writing room.
Are you ready to see what all the other girls have cooked up?
Stop by Kim's blog to see the complete line up.
Thanks for stopping by today!
Devilled Ham for Sandwiches.
Here is the last of the Easter Ham .
Finely grinding it in food processer.
Adding sweet pickle relish, mustard and small amount of mayonnaise. According to my Mom no measurements just taste as one adds ingredients and when the mixture holds together for a sandwich that is it!
Makes the best ham sandwich almost better than leftover Christmas turkey sandwiches.

A New Face for Me!
It was a Red Hat outing today ...with a ... Pot luck luncheon , took my old standby, Caesar Salad........
Serenity Bay Spa owners spoke on their new Dr Renaud hydra science Product line and one lucky person got an $80 facial .
To my surprise my name was drawn...
Facial , massage , mask and laser treatment later I am a new woman .
So here is my new face ......
Bad enough I was the entertainment for the ladies day but if you think I will show a picture of myself under that mask. Oh No! Mask is enough!
Still it was a fun treatment and my skin does feel softer and has a finer texture... could this become a routine? Maybe!
