Surprise Birthday Hop!

Today we are celebrating some My Time Made Easy design team birthdays!
For those that don't know, it's Lauren's birthday on May 3rd and Stephanie's birthday on May 5th :) Stop by and give them some ♥

Happy Birthday girls! I hope your days are super special!

Since joining the MTME dt I have been surrounded by so much inspiration each day! These girls are amazing!
My days have been very long at work lately so I haven't had time to create a card for each of the girls celebrating a birthday...but I will ;) Then I'll mail them!!
This card here was made using a couple of new sets from MTME. I've used the Sensational Stems and Sensational Sentiments again. LOVE these sets! They are available in digi too!
Stop by some of the other girls blogs to see what fabulous creations they have to share as well!
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday!

Vintage flower project

No one has entered this challenge yet at Lilgreenbugville blogspot so I felt I needed to give it a try even if I didn't have a crafting heat gun.

I borrowed my husband's heat gun (I think it's for removing paint) to heat up some circles of satin ribbon to create this lollipop flower ( I also didn't have any fabric). The heat gun melts synthetic fabric creating this neat effect.

Last of four

I work a four on 5 off rotation, and tonight is my last of four - my favorite shift of the work week :) Sadly it is National Scrapbook Day and many of my favorite bloggers have busy days of crafting planned, and I will miss it all. Oh well - the job pays for all the crafting supplies, doesn't it?

The card I am posting today, was actaully designed by my DD. It was a card for her little friend who lives up near our cottage. The stamps are MFT and the paper is SU. She picked the image, what she wanted it to say, and then colored it. I thought it was so cute!

Gotta get ready for work.

A la prochaine...
