Went to see Jersey Boys in Toronto with my Mom.
JERSEY BOYS is the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons: Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi. This is the story of how a group of blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks became one of the biggest American pop music sensations of all time.
They wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold 175 million records worldwide -- all before they were thirty. The musical features such Four Seasons' hits as “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don't Cry,” “Walk Like A Man,” “Oh What a Night” and “Can't Take My Eyes Off You.”
The social group at Mom's condo organized a bus trip.
We stopped at Yorkdale Mall for lunch , chose Rainforest Cafe , cute place for families.....very good faitas.
Toronto's Center for the Arts.
Waiting for Play to start, 7th row back center stage. excellent seats.
Jersey Boys is a very good musical production, actors were outstanding,
MICHAEL LOMENDA,ADRIAN MARCHUK ,QUINN VANANTWERP,
GRANT TILLY; of course this is the music of my generation so couldn't miss for me; Sherry and Can't take my eyes off of you were my favourite songs, all and all great fun but poignant too. The orchestra jammed at the end for a few minutes ,amazing musicians.Love the brass section, sax and horns wailing. guitar player who did magical riffs on the guitar.
Wonderful day even tho stop and go traffic on the way to Toronto and on the way back..
Thanks Mom, for the great day!
