My Core'dinations Creative Frenzy

Soo, here it is, my Core'dinations design team submission! I had to give it a try. I love this paper as my first project shows!



I played with my Gypsy until I created what looked like the Core'dinations logo. The black and red paper is from the Black Magic Collection but I bought it individually.



I had so much fun with this layout! I tried to sand/rub with scissors the effect of bubbles on the paper. The paper is from the Roy G. Biv Stack and I used one sheet of glitter paper for the photo mat and the title. The waves are from the Going Places Cricut cartridge. I used my Gypsy to hide the boat that goes with the water and to stretch it to 12 inches. The font is from the Birthday Bash cartridge.



This project features paper from the Jillian Bean Soup already embossed collection and some jute. The title is cut from the Vintage Paper stack with the Wall Decor cartridge.

I'm proud to say that all the paper I used is by Core'dinations.

Happy St. Patrick's Day! I made this card for my Grandma because that's how I feel to have her.

Simple sympathy

I had no mojo yesterday but still needed to make these cards. I, Tracey, vow to make a set of sympathy cards at my next crop so I always have some on hand.



I think the Core'dinations paper makes them pretty! The butterfly is from the Roy G. Biv stack and the blue is from the Vintage Collection. The butterfly is embossed with the Polka Dots folder. I distressed everything with DH's sand paper then cleaned them off with a Dust Buddy.

Run, jump, repeat layout

This is a simple layout with a photo I love!



I barely used my Cricut for this layout. Just the title with the Plantin Schoolbook font is cut using my machine. Most of the cutting is tearing. Have I mentioned how much I love tearing?

The "dock" is strips of Core'dinations paper. I embossed and sanded it to look like wood. The "lake" is paper with a white core to look like waves hitting the shore.

Boo-tiful Banner

I wasn't planning on making a Halloween banner but I have seen so many beautiful/creative/detailed ones posted. I felt that with a black fireplace, I really should make one...







All the paper is Core'dinations. I crumpled up the letters and sanded them. The pumpkin ridges were created using the line in my round coffee table! I used my bone folder and then sanded the ridge.

Fantabulous Cricut challenge #17

This weeks challenge at Fantabulous Cricut is to make a project that features a bug and the color orange.



This is my entry. I have been on a Halloween kick this week. All the cuts are from Paper Doll Dress Up except the flag which is from Create A Critter. The background paper is Core'dinations. I distressed the edges with sand paper to reveal the color core, hoping it would look spooky.

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge

This week I decided to try a challenge set by Fantabulous Cricut. The challenge was to make a project having to do with rain or water. This is my entry. The pictures are from a wonderful trip that included a visit to an aquarium.



I tried to make the effect of underwater by adding bubbles. The make the bubbles, I cut circles out on my Cricut and then placed them under a sheet of blue Core'dinations paper. I then lightly sanded the paper until a "bubble" appeared. I made the ocean floor by tearing beige cardstock and then inking it.


All the cuts are from the Life is a Beach cartridge except for the circles which are from George.

The Pink Stamper Gallery

I'm a big fan of the my pink stamper website. She is sweet and funny and loves the Cricut almost as much as I do. lol She had asked for submissions last month to have some designers join her each month in featuring Cricut projects. I submitted a beach layout. Unfortunately, I wasn't chosen for her design team but my layout is featured in her Gallery.



I used the Life is a Beach cartridge for all the cuts. My blue waves are layered upon layer upon layer because I didn't have my Expression at the time and couldn't just press fit to length. The beach items are all pop dotted and inked. To make the effect of sand I sanded beige Core'dinations paper. I l-o-v-e Core'dinations! I had trouble sanding the DoubleMates paper last month and ended up ripping my paper. Let's just say my die cuts were placed very strategically over the holes.

I can't wait to add my photos taken at a local beach last summer!
