We went there last year and it was a ton of fun!

We had friends visiting and we took them to Summerhill Winery where they have an amazing brunch buffet ~ and this cool looking half globe.  At the time there were three wildfires burning nearby ~ you can see how hazy the sky was.

Two what a great example of why it's so important to read to our young children.

Summer Break starts in one day here and we've just signed up for the Summer Reading Club at our local Library.  We participated last year as well and had a lot of fun.  Honestly the program has helped me to stay motivated and read to the boys every night.

So pick up a book, join a Summer Reading Club and enjoy!

So I took a "Rain Day"

Is it just us?  Or has Mother Nature gone on a permanent vaca? 

Seriously! 

We still had snow in April and now rain all spring.

So I took a "Rain Day" and stayed inside to bake and clean the other day.

I made Pizza Buns, Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies, Rhubarb Muffins {recipe coming soon} and Cinnamon Pull Apart {Recipe from The Best of Bridge}.

Needless to say the kitchen looked like it had been hit by a flour bomb.

Not too shabby for a days work and now I have a stockpile of Darcy's favorite baked goodies just in time for Daddy's Day!
