Bloomin Tuesday-Fringe Tree

2 years ago I planted in my new backyard a Fringe Tree. The first year it rewarded me with lovely blossoms  in the spring......This year  even better; loaded with  white fluffy  panicles...
Fringe tree is  also called Old Mans Beard. It  is a refined, elegant beauty .This native of North America is a close relative of the lilacs, when in bloom this plant is best described by words like dainty, delicate and frilly,  airy with a light  sweet scent., Yesterday with the  warm still air the patio was filled with this soft  perfume.

More of this tree should be planted as it is so tolerant of  light and soil and urban conditions .Hardy to zone 5.

Is there a tree in your yard you love?
