Unless you have been living under a rock you know that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are on a state visit to Canada. Or, in other words, Kate Fashion Week Summer 2011. The reports haven’t been focused on the strengthening of the ties between the Commonwealth and the United Kingdom, but rather on who designed Kate’s dress and how much her shoes cost.

But let’s face it. When their trip is spent shaking hands with members of the public for six hours a day, there are only so many times you can write, ‘Kate shakes hands with a teenage well wisher.’ And let’s face it again. Deep down inside, all we really care about is the pretty clothes the pretty princess wears.

Without further ado, here are some of Kate’s dressed as she and Prince William arrived in Ottawa, Canada on the first day of the state visit on Thursday, June 30. For inquiring minds her blue lace dress is designed by Erdem Moralioglu.

Prince William was also photographed arriving at Prince Edward Island, Canada alongside another one of Kate’s dresses on Saturday, July 3. Kate is wearing a very chic cream dress by Joseph.
