Kicking off the eighth day of the Canadian leg of their North American tour, Prince William and Kate Middleton enjoyed some time in the city of Calgary this afternoon (July 7).
Upon their arrival, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge received a traditional Calgary welcome from 6-year-old Diamond Marshall at the Calgary International Airport.
Also on the agenda for the Royal newlyweds is a visit to University of Calgary along with a medical research center tour where they unveiled an honorary plaque.
Tomorrow (July 8), Will and Kate will wrap up their Canadian travels by joining Prime Minister Stephen Harper to commence the 2011 Calgary Stampede, the world’s largest rodeo celebration which attracts 1.3 million western-loving visitors annually.
