Yes, that and the swapping of the Scorpion for a Wraith on Hemorrhage is great. I'm most excited about Rocket Race coming back. I played that gametype the most in Halo 3, so I'm hoping it remains as fun in Reach.
Sometimes I have as much fun taking screenshots as I do just playing the damn game.

And here is a pretty awesome film clip I made. I was trying to bring the Falcon to help my team finish off a round of Invasion, when someone on the other team tried to intercept me in a Banshee. I couldn't escape, so I decided to just, shall we say, trade seats with him... in mid air. Not only did I accomplish it, but we were over the water when I kicked him out, so he died in the process. :D

I have never EVER had Facebook crash Safari. And I use Facebook heavily.
Sounds something is wrong with your setup or you just enjoy spreading FUD.
I have multiple Macs, more than 10, so I'm not spreading FUD.
You must just go on the site and read what people say and don't do anything javascript intensive.
There are many threads of SAFARI complaints on here and on Apple Discussions if you don't believe me.
So far, Safari 4.0.4 seems more stable, but they still need to fix the spinning beachball problem, which also many people have complained about.
I suspect that on Macs FLASH and Javascript would be mostly the causes of these problems, but on the iPhone, there would still be Javascript problems in Mobile Safari since they are based largely on each other.

Judging from history what do you thing, when would iLife '07 be available?
I am seriously considering to wait a little longer (the 1.83 model has left me strongly disappointed).
So I thought I can wait a little longer and buy when iLife 07 will be included in the purchase (to make up for the lousy specs ) :rolleyes:

The video is now posted on the Washington Post blog to see how they go about it. I'm watching it now. They do seem to stress that it's not an Apple vulnerability, but an 802.11 driver issue. Anyways, let's see what they can do.

EDIT: Holy crap, that was pretty convincing to a relative amateur like me. They seemed to basically do whatever they wanted to the system. Was there something underhanded here that I didn't catch that would make this unusable in reality, or is there valid concern based on this demo?

Mine was doing fine until a couple of days ago, when it shut down for the first time. Applied the firmware update, hasn't happened since.

You make some great points and I think the key to a successful reduction in military spending is to reduce it over time. A sudden 30-50% cut in the budget would be horrific and not just for a military program but in any program. But why not aim to reduce it from 600 billion today, to 400 billion fifteen years from now? The key is discipline but such a trait is not something I have seen Washington demonstrate. :(
Only problem with this is that it does not reflect the REAL U.S. defense budget. We have so many defense related expenses wrapped up in other departments that it hides the real cost.

i had ordered the day of the launch, but late in the day. so late that my original ship date was April 1, delivery of April 8. this has now been updated -- shipped 2 days ago, delivery March 31.

Greed on Apple's part might be the reason. I'm sure they will wait a few months after everyone has bought the 4GB in color, then announce 8GB iPod Nanos in color.
That, or the middle size/price just sells way more than the pricier one. :rolleyes:

There is also a mode that Bungie created called "Gruntpocalypse" where it is nothing but waves and waves of Grunts, with the "Grunt Birthday Party" skull turned on. It sounds very basic, but killing hundreds of Grunts, the confetti popping out of their heads, and hearing the kids cheer YAAAAYY every time you headshot them just never gets old. :D
Gotta check this mode out, sounds like fun. I asked this before but its been awhile, has anyone beat it on legendary yet? I am going to go through it anyway but i was just wondering.

You've got nothing to lose - as it is, it's pretty much useless - unless you enjoy having your MacBook turn off at the most inopportune times.
Do this: schedule an appt with your local Apple store Genius Bar for later today or tomorrow. Update your firmware. If it happens to shutdown while updating your firmware, or you brick it somehow, bring it to your appointment and tell them what happened.
If it works, cancel the appointment.
BTW, since the update came out my MacBook has been running 100% fine.

I love how everybody is like "I've got the CDs who cares" or "Buy the CDs they are cheaper". The Beatles on iTunes isn't for you. It is for people who don't buy CDs, it's for the future when the majority of people get digital music and it's certainly for a whole generation of kids who won't know what a CD is or care, in the same way that vinyl is now seen as archaic.
I'm sure I am repeating someone else's thoughts, but it doesn't seem clear to a lot of people.
The real problem is you are losing the "feel" of those albums from Vinyl.
I'm a Gen Xer and tapes were b and Cd's were the big thing when I was growing up.
I had the luxury of having parents who had a Grundig Majestic Stereo with record player. I own it now. It captures a lot more of the recording than digital ever can.
Case and Point Rolling Stones "Let it Bleed"
No comparison. I love digital music because its easy to store. That's it. Quality goes to Vinyl hands down. I'm just sayin'. Vinyl is not Archaic is all.

Number One checking in! Seriously, I started the first "Post Your Mac Setup" thread.
It still boggles my mind that this has made it to 13 parts and is still going strong! *knock on wood* I hope it never ends!
I just sold my MacBook Pro but once my iMac arrives I will take photos of my setup for everyone. It's definitely changed a lot since then, lol.
Plus, everyone else's photos are making me super envious!
